Diverse & Inclusive Company Culture

Elanco is committed to publicly publishing our progress toward increasing diversity across our organization and improving inclusion so that all employees can bring their whole selves to work, are treated respectfully and equitably, and can thrive.

2022 PROGRESS

Elanco received the Seramount “Best Places for Working Dads” Award.

Elanco has become a partner with OneTen.

Hosted Elanco Day during which all 9 of our Employee Resource Groups shared cultural activities and food for the experience of Elanco employees and their families.

Hosted the 4th Annual Multicultural Summit – Whole self, Whole World – Sponsored by Elanco PRIDE.

Recognized Mental Health week with activities sponsored by our UK/Ireland Culture & Inclusion team.

Increased capacity and capability within our Global Talent Acquisition Team to enhance our equitable hiring practices.

Increased representation of People of Color in leadership in the U.S. to 16.9% and introduced the goal of increasing representation of People of Color in leadership to 20% by 2023.

2021 PROGRESS

In June 2021, Elanco published our first ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Summary. Within this document Elanco disclosed representation of women across our global operations and Minority Group Members in the U.S., within various levels in the organization and in Leadership. In addition to employee-led efforts to drive an inclusive culture, Elanco has strengthened our commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion by establishing two full-time dedicated roles in the past year.

Leadership Role in Food Secure Indy

Focus Areas: Healthcare

Elanco will invest time and resources to partner with businesses, government and non-profits in an effort to solve the food security issue in Indianapolis and make Indy America’s first food secure city by 2023.

2022 PROGRESS

Over 1,500 volunteer hours completed in central Indiana during our annual Global Day of Purpose.

2021 PROGRESS

Elanco has led the launch and execution “Food Secure Indy” (FSI) initiative which is a partnership between business, government, community leaders, and nonprofits to make Indianapolis America’s 1st food-secure city. Through multiple workshops, we have identified 33 concepts to evaluate probability and impact on food security in Indianapolis. We expect to identify one to three concepts to pursue, resource and report progress.

Support Early Education Opportunities in Central Indiana

Focus Areas: Education

Elanco will continue and establish partnerships in the Central Indiana community aimed at reducing inequities in education

Elanco participated in an industry panel discussion as part of the National FFA State EDI Collaborative (hosted in Indianapolis) Elanco continues to partner with the Purdue Office of Multicultural programs to support both student and faculty/staff initiatives aimed at building a diverse and inclusive future workforce.

Elanco has established the first manufacturer partner team within the Purdue University This is How We Role program, which is focused on exposing underrepresented children of elementary school age to the Veterinary Sciences.

Pay Equity

Focus Areas: Prosperity

Elanco pledges to complete a pay equity study by the end of 2021 with guidance from external experts and will take action accordingly.

2022 PROGRESS

Elanco has implemented analytical software to provide opportunity for real-time, ongoing data analysis and adjustments, as needed, enabling this practice to become part of our fabric, instead of a one-time initiative.

2021 PROGRESS

Elanco initiated a pay equity study with a third party expert and expects results during the first half of 2022. This work analyzes our Elanco population to understand if there are unexplained gaps in employee compensation, based upon statistically significant groupings, i.e., similar levels/locations/etc.

Launch Supplier Diversity Program
